Double Bay came alive yesterday as Guilfoyle Park turned into a full-blown celebration of four-legged fashion and fun. The annual Fashion Pawrade raised money for RSPCA while giving Sydney’s most stylish dogs their moment on the red carpet.
Dogs and their humans strutted down the runway in everything from chic coordinated looks to full theatrical costumes. Each brought their own flair and the crowd loved it! So did the Sunrise team, who filmed the whole spectacle for national TV.
But the fashion show was just the beginning.
A day packed with experiences
This year’s Pawrade delivered thanks to an incredible lineup of partners and local businesses who made the day unforgettable.
Kuru Matcha and Matcha Club Sydney treated guests to premium matcha tastings that delivered a refreshing lift to anyone wandering through. Double Bay Wharf Yoga brought calm and cuteness with all-day doga sessions that had owners and pups stretching in perfect sync.
MyCavoodle had a stall that drew exactly the kind of attention you’d expect when cavoodles are involved. Cute, adorable, and lots of happy energy!
Emma Ferguson Art hosted live pet portrait sessions, sketching dogs and their humans in charming instant illustrations. The never-ending queue showed just how popular it is to have your pet captured in real time.
Santa photos gave families and their fur babies the perfect early-December keepsake. And Doglato served dog-safe gelato that, judging by the enthusiastic tail wags and happy licks, was one of the biggest hits of the day. The dogs’ body language says it all!
The Knose pink runway experience
Knose added an extra pop of colour and personality with a standout activity. The pink mini runway paired with an Instagram frame drew a constant stream of dog parents capturing their pets’ best angles. Pups strutted while their humans snapped away.
Dogs took on fashion fun at the Knose Spin 2 Win wheel where every spin meant a pose, a twirl or a tiny runway moment to win a prize. It was playful, pleasantly chaotic and impossible not to smile at. Also, no allergies sighted, just giggly and happy snouts!
Giving back with heart
All proceeds from the event went straight to RSPCA, supporting rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming services for animals in need.
A massive thank you goes out to all the sponsors and partners who made this event possible. From the matcha tastings to the doga sessions, the live art to the dog gelato, every contribution helped create an unforgettable day for the community while raising money for a cause that matters.
