The Royal Canberra Show ran from 20 to 22 February 2026, and Knose was proud to be an official sponsor of the dog and cat show arena. It was three full days of agriculture, animals and community spirit, all wrapped up in that late summer Canberra warmth.
A hot pink stall at a show tends to draw a crowd, and ours was no exception. All weekend we got to chat with handlers, exhibitors, and pet lovers who wandered over to find out more about Knose. All of it made the Royal Canberra Show one to remember.
Paws, claws, and big applause
Three days, one very popular Spin 2 Win, and more happy winners than we could count. The prizes were pink, pet-themed, and genuinely useful.
The pet first aid kit was easily the prize that got the biggest smiles. It also sparked plenty of conversations about being prepared and knowing what to keep on hand at home.
The Dog Show section brought great energy to the grounds. Traditional breed judging ran across the recognised groups, with beautifully presented dogs and handlers who clearly put in the hours.
The junior handler competitions were a highlight too. It was an opportunity for young participants to step into the ring and demonstrate their skills.
Among the competitors, Knose Breeder Partner Blake and his mum Sharan brought their Hungarian Vizslas into the ring and came away with something special: they won Reserve Dog Challenge and Junior in Group.
Blake and Sharan have been part of the Knose Breeder Partner programme for over a year now, and seeing them take home such a strong result at the Canberra Royal was a proud moment for us.

Cats took centre stage too, with exhibitors and proud owners stopping by in numbers. Our stall welcomed a steady stream of devoted cat lovers across the weekend.
Supporting both the dog and cat sections meant we got to connect with a much wider community of pet lovers, which is exactly where we want to be.
The weekend wrapped up with laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of pink prizes to keep everyone buzzing. A huge thank you to everyone who dropped by our stall! We can’t wait to see you again on our next adventure!
