No, the hotline doesn’t replace your vet. Think of us as your first point of contact when you’re unsure what to do. We can help you decide if something needs urgent attention or if it can wait. But for physical exams, treatments, or prescriptions, you’ll still need to see your local vet in person.

No. Only a vet who sees your pet in person can do that. We can talk you through symptoms and next steps, but we don’t prescribe or diagnose over the phone.

No – the advice is based on what you tell us. It’s trusted guidance, but not a formal diagnosis or legally binding opinion. For any documentation or treatment plans, your local vet is the one to see.

If it’s serious – like seizures, collapse, or breathing trouble – go to a vet straight away. The hotline can help if you’re unsure whether something’s urgent, but it’s not a replacement for emergency care.
