Winning The Pet Show Cat Competition with our Breeder Partner

Last updated on

What a fantastic weekend we had at The Pet Show in Melbourne. Knose Pet Insurance was proud to sponsor Cats Australia as they hosted their spectacular cat show. The event was packed with stunning healthy cats, passionate breeders, and cat lovers from all over the country.

Knose proudly sponsors events that bring the pet community together.

A weekend full of whiskers, wins and wonderful conversations

The Pet Show by Cats Australia brought together an incredible mix of cat lovers, breeders, and industry professionals. We had the chance to witness their expertly run cat competition, meet long-time Breeder Partners in person, and chat with passionate people who go above and beyond for animals.

There were countless beautiful cats on display, and we couldn’t look away. Seeing them all together in one space reminded us how special this community really is, and how much we love being part of it.

“What an incredible weekend I had at The Pet Show in Melbourne,” said our Knose event rep. “It was such a great experience meeting the wonderful hosts of the show and finally putting faces to the names of some of our Breeder Partners. Breeders I’ve spoken to often but had never met in person!”

The highest scoring cat at the competition was our breeder partner’s British Longhair.

Our breeder partner’s british longhair cat stole the show

We can’t talk about the weekend without shouting out our superstar: Shalida Lord Sebastian, the breathtaking British Longhair cat. He wowed the judges and earned the title of Best Overall Cat. With his plush coat and regal presence, he stole the show and plenty of hearts along the way.

A huge congratulations goes to our Breeder Partner Donna from Shalida Cattery whose love and care made this win possible.

At Knose, we believe in celebrating responsible breeding, and it was a joy to see one of our partners recognised for doing just that. Seeing her hard work honoured on such a big stage made us prouder than ever.

The Knose Breeder Partner Team is devoted to supporting Australia’s responsible breeders.

What is the Knose Breeder Partner Program?

Onwards to the next event

Events like Cats Australia’s The Pet Show remind us why we do what we do. They bring people together and give us a chance to celebrate the bond between humans and animals. We’re already counting down to the next event! We hope to see even more of our Breeder Partners and new faces.
